After more than ten years, I have finally used up my bottle of Kodak Poly-Toner. Most of the time I used it with Ilford MG and loved the subtle warming I would get. All of a sudden, using the new Poly-Toner, I only get a minutely different tone. Did Ilford MG change or did the Poly Toner change? Any thoughts?

I heard that Poly-Toner has been discontinued, so this may be the last bottle you are ever able to get. Have you tried it with a different paper yet?

Thanks Ed - ya, it works great with Gekko and Forte Polwarmtone - RC & FB. Those are the only papers I have tried, other than the Ilford MG.

I hope this info might be useful. I just found Kodak polytoner by doing a Yahoo shopping search for it. It came up at a place called Bob's Club, from which I ordered two quarts. The URL was too long to include, so it's easier to just do the search. If the toner keeps for a long time, one could stock up.
