Thread Help Needed

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Current News - Homefront Preparations : One Thread

Hi, All!

I debated about posting this thread over here, but decided not, yet. If you want me to, I'll post the update.

At the urging of several folks, Mutter, Maggie, and I started collecting links and making a list of potential terrorist events. Yesterday, I launched it on TB2K so that I could pick up more links (okay, I'm really lazy and hate digging in archives).

Y'all are welcome to post or read. It's sort of scary all the weird things that have happened since 9/11.

The link works. I'm not only lazy, but sloppy, too.

That is some thread! be sure and post the link to the website when it gets all correlated.

And feel free to pull the stories I posted about the Miami incidents.

Thanks, Barefoot. And thanks, too, to whomever cleaned up my sloppy link. I will post the web page url in various places -- it's meant for everyone. I just hope it'll be of some use to someone who has the power to stop something bad from happening or to save his/her family.

Will try to contribute if I come across something...I will ask Kona, as she is the one that goes digging..but she is very tied up time wise for a few more weeks.

Now the link wants me to register. did someone move it at TB?

It got pulled, Barefoot. "Someone" (don't know who) was upset about some info in there, so one the mods dragged it into the staff lounge. As far as I know, it's all AP/UPI stuff but maybe not. It's a mystery. I'm going to start another one elsewhere at some point.

It's been put back on the main board :)There have been a few new posts to it also...

Vipper,

Now what on that thread would have caused it to be pulled into the staff lounge over at TB?

Thanks,

I ahve to chuckle about Jed talking about the crows in NY. He says the ones he's seen around have looked healthy. I wonder if he's been looking up or down?

That thread is looking scarier now.

Barefoot, everytime I work with that material, I get some shivers, even though I believe that only a tiny fraction is terrorist-related. There is a lot of weirdness going on all over, and a lot of us don't realize it until we look at the clusters of events.

Take train derailments as an example. There have always been train derailments, and some are due to human error and/or mechanical failure. Nothing weird there. However, consider the last cluster of train derailments -- several over several days. Now, someone suggested it's Y2K related. I don't know. Maybe the moon is in the sign of Woopsie. The point is that there are *clusters* of unexplained events. Are they terrorist related? Probably not. But they are interesting, and I think it's worth looking at those patterns, and that can be done with already published news sources. Anyone with a search engine can duplicate what I'm trying to do with the next incarnation (to a web page) of the material on that thread.

Could very well be moon-related. Remember how the weird crimes/events occur when the moon is in the first quarter? I think it's the first quarter. Anyway, when you look at the moon phases on the Weather Channel, whenever the full moon is NEXT up, watch out! I mean, when the current symbol is on the far left and the full moon symbol is next to it on the right. That roughly 7- to 8-day period very often brings weirdness. Full moon does, too, of course, but watch out for the period before that. Uranus is theplanet for sudden events and Mars is fiery--if there are malefic aspects to the moon from those planets, there could be derailments andif Mars is involved, a fire or explosion as well. Course, I don't put much faith in any of this stuff. . .
