I'm sure that I'm late with this info...had my granddaughter here til 8 p.m. so I'm a little behind!! You folks probably are aware of it already, but I was very happy to see this and sure hope it's available for a long time :-)! Don't want to start a discussion (etc.), but just thought I'd post this!

Marcia, I can't get it to work! I get a password-protected screen when I click on any of the actual threads?

Me too, EM!! I didn't notice that the other day cause I never clicked onto the threads after getting to the archives...DUH!! Sorry! Now what??

I just got into two of the categories, but not the individual threads. And just GUESS who the password request goes to! Yup, Chuck. Going over there to see what the scoop is. Maybe you have to register to get the password.

Okay, go to this link

Tells you what happened, but not the answer to the problem.

Oops, spoke too soon. It appears to be working now!

It's working for me now, too!! I have to click on the second link that was posted to be able to read the archives...but I've saved the site now :-)!! Hopefully they will always be available to EVERYONE!

Okay here is the correct link to be able to read the archives.

Joy...just curious but why is that when I click onto the first subject in the archives (about the forum copyrights) I get the "page cannot be found" thingy?? I can get any of the other forum subjects that I've tried ...so far. Just wonderin'!

Marcia, I got it too. I looked at that thread earlier, and I know that STAN is the one that started it. So, my guess is they did something to remove that one, and now, even though the title still exists, there is no thread to link it to. I'm not all THAT good at computer stuff. I can only manage this site because of the "helps" that are built in. Frankly, if hackers managed to get in here, I wouldn't have a clue how to stop them. Good thing that a password seems to defeat them!

All I can say is that it must have been a really "meaty" thread :-)!!

Yup...thank goodness for the password!!! You could always change it if we had a break-in.
