Hi to you too, Diana!!

There are soooo many modalities within the term 'massage' that it's really quite hard sometimes to get one's head around it all. In my course with NSW School of Therapeutic Massage, where I originally trained, we did a little on accupressure - and now I'm finding I'd really love to learn the ins and outs of it; but I guess it would come under the heading of Chinese Medicine.

BTW, perhaps I should start a new topic on this, but what's happened to the 'Massage Therapist disguised as a client' reports in our newsletter?!! I really looked forward to those often quite amusing reports. I thought it was a great way to see how other 'professional' therapists work and act. As well as having a chuckle now and then, I also learned from the 'client' feedback. I hope this person will continue to donate their body in the quest to find the perfect Therapist!!

P.S. Diana, if you see Geoff Naughton, please tell him that I am getting info. (hehehehe), for the 2003 AGM to be held at Tenterfield!!!! I hope you will all come up - 'Tenterfield, Birthplace of a Nation'.

Hi Fioana,

I have a rather handy book on the subject of accupressure entitled; "Accupressure's Potent Points" a guide to self-care for common ailments, by Michael Reed Gach. Bantam Books.

If you don't already have this book then I suggest you have a look, at the time it cost me $29.95, about 2 years ago I guess.

Good luck
