Prayer Time

Great idea MaryLu.

Can I suggest Sundays at 9pm (Pacific daylight time) for us all to say the Rosary in unison. It would be a great thing to start the week like this. I realize that many on this forum are from different countries, and from differnt places around the USA. Maybe we can add all our suggested times and come up with a compromise.

Thanks.

In Christ.

Hi Jake,

Glad you like the idea. We may have to work out something time-wise, though. We are on the Worldwide Web, so our time differences vary...9:00 pm Pacfic time would be 12:00 pm EST here.....perhaps all those on the same time line can say it at that time...let's try to figure this out. :) MaryLu

There is a prayer group...rosary, I think...that I've seen on the web. Oh poo. Can't think of the name now. They ask that each person say the rosary at various times so that all day long, 24/7, the rosary is being said somewhere.

John would probably know what I'm talking about. :)

Great idea, you guys!

God Bless~

Jackiea,

Maybe if we type rosary in the search engine we can find it.

That is a great idea! MaryLu

Jackiea/Marylu

I rember Ed Lauzon mentioned a place on the internet that Pray the Rosary at a certain time every night. I think it was in a site called "Pal talk" if I rember correctly?

Here is a website that I thought you all might be interested in.

Hi, Jackiea.

Let's not forget our Online/Offline Catholic Resources threads. [I should have added many more threads there in past months, and I suspect the same could be said for several of us.]

Anyway, that's where I went to get a link to this thread about rosary sites. Perhaps one of the links on this Rosary-resource page will take you to the place you have in mind.

Jake, Sunday 0900h p.m. is sometime during Monday in most of the world. But I'm perfeclty willing to accept your date if you pray with me once at 0200h a.m. Pacific daylight time, which is very convenient for me ;-)

The scriptural rosary is recited on "Paltalk" each evening at 8pm. e.s.t. The room is opened shortly before 8pm. each evening and is located in the "Christianity" section. The rosary usually takes approximately 45 minutes to recite. Prior to the rosary room opening at 8pm. an informal Catholic chat room is maintained and reopened after the rosary. Everyone is invited to participate. To download the Paltalk program (beta edition is free) please go to: http://www.paltalk.com/paltalk2/index.html Hope this helps everyone.

Please let me know what everyone decides to do since we are all on different time zones....in the meantime, when I say a rosary or any prayer, I will include all of you...

I am really getting concerned and we really do need so much prayer. Our country and our world are going crazy. It is all so weird. I have never witnessed so much evil in my entire life, not like what is going on now.

I have to keep reminding myself that Jesus will overcome the world as He has promised.

MaryLu :)

I'll gladly join this effort and suggestion.
