What year did the Vermont Marble Company open in San Francisco and when did it close? I would like to know anything that is known about the Company. Was there a list of employees?

The Vermont Marble Company was at 244 Brannan Street in the 1920's and moved to 6000 3rd Street in the 1930s.

My wife just purchased a piece of marble that had a sticker on the back. explaining that it was a sample from the V.M. Company. I also was curious about the company ....any info.....? B.G.
