Hi Stan, I clicked on here and thought I was in the Twilight Zone!!!! If you go to the new answers, they're working and the board looks normal??? Very strange.

Seems like I remember the same sort of thing happening on a different forum. Hmmm.... maybe Unk's or GCIC. I think that someone who knows what they are doing can hack the forum like this.

Jay, when I clicked on view page source there is some code in the other post that maybe you could delete?? Clueless, but just a thought...

Same thing when I view page source on the forum's main page. There is a whole bunch of extra code for the title of that thread.

Its just like any server crash. No big deal. Think of it like a twister touching down. Now we clean up. Theres plenty of other sites we can go to in the mean time. Worse case scenerio is we take the board down completely and rebuild. As long as the participants remain the knowledge is always here.

Jay, just curious. Did Mini Vinnie only hit forums that were off- shoots of CS or others too?

-- Granny Hen (clucking along@cs.com), June 09, 2002.

It appears to be CS offshoot based. A village commons was hit as this site was. Countryside family had a post, but not the mainpage wipeout.
