I don't know about you all, but I'm having a horrible time with ants this year. I ran across this recipe I'm going to try in a practical solutions book I have. I think I'm going to try it and thought I would share it with you.

Ant Trap

Give the tiny black intuders a fatal but unchemical case of indigestion.

1/3 cup molasses 6 T. sugar 6 T. active dry yeast

Stir all ingredients together until it makes a paste. Coat strips of cardboardwitht he mixture or put into bottle caps. Then place in infested areas.

Mmmm...sounds delicious, Denise :-)!! Actually it sounds like it might work for wasps and slugs, too. Thanks for the recipe!

How about pouring the mixture over some pine sap? Maybe the little boogers will end up being "amber ants" someday...

Heres another..equal parts icing sugar and borax. Put it in a container with holes so they can get in and out and carry this stuff back to the nest.
