can someone please tell me the step-by-step approach of dual booting? i have read multiple read-me's, but they arent cutting it. i want to dual boot between redhat linux 7.2 and windows ME(i know, i know, it sucks). See, i would normally just install linux, but my family has 4 computers, my two sisters each get one for college and grad, school, so that leaves us with 2. And for some reason my sister who is going to grad. school convinced my mom and dad to give her two computers(laptop and desktop). So now i have 1 computer, that i need to share with my folks. And they wont let me destroy windows. So the only solution is dual booting. If you know anything on the subject, plz share your knowledge with me!!!

I know when I bought cladabra linux (I beleive is the name) it came with a prog. to dual boot your system, and after much trouble I finally got it working right.. It's called bootMagic, maybe you can download it and try ? and unless you are extremely good with either linux or dos I wouldn't install LILO to your Master Boot Recorder.. I would keep it on a 3 1/2 disk... just speaking from experience... not that im good with linux or anything... but.. I would talk to Kant and DL.. and dont be afraid to trash you pc and install everything over again in case you screw up.. (for me I think I re-formated completly about 6 times be for I got it down.. heh >.<) hope that helps ?
