Partition Magic is heaven, but of course you could always use fdisk *shudder*.

I got quite adept at Fdisk during my Linux experimentation.. hmm was it 6 or 7 times I had to remake partitions and format my hard drive ??

But how do you use these under a Windows environment? And btw, i am not willing to use fdisk because it will delete all data on the partitions while making them and i want windows to stay. So, in other words, it will delete windows which i want to keep and not reinstall or discard.

Well, I know with boot magic, you open it in windows, it restarts in DOS then runs it's self there.. then you pick how much space you want for Linux, then it takes how much ever free memory you've selected and turns it into a linux partition, then when you install linux, you just select the one that windows INS'T on.. and that's it..

FIPS man! this non-damaging resizer comes in the \dosutils folder of most distributions. Be careful, though, cause if you use it from the same partition it may mess up.
