Who actually done up your first logo anyway?

Juz a short query that needs to be answered : who actually designed the original logo of KLMBH? What I remember is that it was a Malay teen guy, and the original colour was yellow and grey I suppose. We did the selection after a great ride somehwere...it's been soooo long I can't remember, can anybody tell me who he was?

Hi Yasir,

It was Nigel Blott, a tall mat salleh who's since returned to the UK. There were 3 logos shortlisted, these were reproduced in Basherama! No 10 (November 1995). The bash was at the back of Elmina (starting from near Kg Subang). If you remember, the hare, an Aussie chap, started the bash with a large green firecracker. Why the interest?

Give me your fax number and I'll fax you the page of the Basherama! No 10. The original logo was in fact blue and white, done in a powerpoint file. Can you post an image of the logo that you submitted?

Cheers, Joe

Hi guys,

Just happened to spot my name in the forum, so I was spurred into a reply. I have been browsing the KLMBH website recently, and I have to say you have done a great job Joe. It would have been useful to have had all those resources to hand when setting the bashes a few years ago, and it also made me think it would be good to have a return visit to KL with the bike (not likely in the near future I'm afraid).

Nice to see my logo still being used as well!

I have just recently spotted that there is a small London-based bike hash now, so I will be giving that a try in the next month. Not sure if there are any ex-KL bashers involved.

Keep up the good work
