I got this on an email list an thought that someone may be able to use it. This recipe is easy and much less expensive than the oxy cleaners advertised on TV. I think I'll give it a try.

1 cup hot water 1/2 cup baking soda 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide

This will even clean old blood stains. Soak clothing for 20 mins. to overnite and then wash as usual. This won't harm fabrics or colors like bleach.

Hydrogen peroxide alone is pretty good on blood stains. What if the fabric shouldn't be in HOT water? 1/2 cup of baking soda sounds like a LOT! Let us know how it works, okay?
