What year did the bridge over the South Canadian river near Calvin collapse? Are there any links to info about this collapse?

I have been trying to research this with very little luck. I would be most appreciative if someone could provide me with some ideas as to where to gather information on this incident. Thank you.

The bridge collapse occurred on May 21, 1976. I have not found any links on the Internet; however, in July 1976 "The National C. B. Truckers' News" carried some information about the bridge collapse. Their address at the time was P. O. Box 615, Independence, Kansas 67301, Phone: (316)331-0131. Also, "The Tulsa Tribune" printed an article on May 22, 1976, and copies might be available from the Tulsa City-County Library, Research Department, 400 Civic Center Plaza, Tulsa, OK 74103.

I have photos of the original 1919 Calvin Bridge now online. This bridge was built some seven years before the US highways crossed here. The route of US 75 was an established US Postal Highway before WW1.
