Definition of Team Track

I notice a section on the website titled "The Team Track." Can someone provide a definition of the railroad term "team track?"

The track is probably more properly called a public delivery track.

A team track is so called because it is a track that is accessible with a team and wagon to unload freight cars into wagons. The teams and wagons are long gone, replaced by trucks, but the name remains, much as truck drivers are called "teamsters".
