MIAMI -- The FBI is looking into the possiblity of a cyber attack on the computer systems at MIA that controls the runway lights. The airport was closed for at least 15 minutes Saturday night starting at 8:40p.m. when a computer glitch caused the lights on all three runways to be turned off. Flights were diverted, and forced to circle, until the problem could be corrected.

Miami Dade Aviation officials say the case has been referred to the FBI because of the possibility someone may have hacked the computer system. The FBI did not return calls for comment.

Police sources say the airport's outside internet connection has been closed as a precaution.
