Hey Stan!!! I got it!!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : CountrySide Family : One Thread

The package came today and the candles are beautiful!!! I love them, in fact, I have one in a candlestick, lit and sitting on my desk right now. I can't believe the difference in the texture of the beeswax ones compared to the waxy things I get at the store. No comparison. And the beeswax itself.......awesome. I can't keep from smelling it. :) I never even thought of how sweet it would smell. Alot I know, huh? :)

I did a search on uses for beeswax and couldn't believe all the ways to use it. Found a neat recipe for a copper polish and of course for a furniture polish. I want to try the one for furniture. Have you ever tried this? Also read something else that was real interesting....In the old days people used to use Mullien that had dried, strip the bark, and use the "strings" on the inside of the plant for candle wicks. Neat.

Stan, thanks so much! (from a very happy customer)!!!

Ive got plenty of wax, and craft sheets, but the candles are running low, I usuallly make them in the winter , use the woodstove and heat the house at the same time. I'll get some pics ready,, whomever wants them , just email me, that way it wont slow down the forum.

Hi Joanie, here's the site where I found the most recipes...

www.esoulshine.com/Recipes.htm

Also, if you do a google search, www.google.com, and type in "uses for beeswax", alot of neat sites come up. Have fun!
