I saw that kitty fence some time ago--what a great version! Have they tried to climb it yet?

thanks, all, it was funny..I let Spook out and he cased the whole perimeter....and meowed and meowed...then I let 3 legged Butchie out,,,it was funny, he had to have me in sight...but he'd go, and then through himself down, and rolled and rolled....Stanley came out and him and spookie again went the whole perimeter, then started to hunt..in 2 days I had 3 moles, a mouse, and 2 snakes brought to me as gifts.

now they are spoiled, as I go to the barn in the morning, they are so patient, all lined up in the shed window..when I am done with the barn, and heading towards the shed, they stampede to the door, and now it is a game how fast they can SHOOT out the open door!

I still have a bit to do, but it is little things.

I couldn't have done it with out Shirley and Richard's help!

Re the "gifts." There's a theory that the cats are trying to teach the lazy humans how to hunt. A kind of kitty "hint, hint!"

Spook turns to Stanley and says, "Ya know, no matter what we bring her for dinner, she always makes it taste the same. I wonder why that is?"

Stanley says, "I don't think she can really cook. Maybe she only knows how to make one thing."

Spook nods, "Could be. I hear the house cats have been trying to order recipe books on line, but she's always interferring with the keyboard."

"Yeah, like she can type!" Stanley smirked, licking his....

The Hungarian, who has seen the prototype kitty fence on the net, is extremely jealous. She is so inept at DIY work, she won't let me do anything in her house because she's pissed that I can do stuff like that. Does that make sense? Who cares?

She has just rescued another cat. (19th, I think, down from 22.) He's a champagne color so she's named him M'sieu Bolly, after Bollinger champagne. You know, AbFab--let's have another glass of Bolly, sweetie. Now you know how I happened to come across that lovely quote from Mme. Bollinger.

Oh dear, I just realized... Git, you are taking the Hungarian with you, aren't you??

The H won't build anything ,not until she retires, anyway. She's due to retire in about three years time and is thinking of moving to Asheville, NC. She was thinking about Colorado but it would have been virtually impossible with all those cats. Much easier to do it in stages to some place a bit closer.
