'66 spring question

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Pontiac GTO : One Thread

I had a '66 GTO from '78 - 82'...bought it for $600 from an Uncle...had to trade it in for a reliable car for my last college days in 80-83..."toughest day of my life at the time"...BUT!!!...I'm 41 now and I now have a beautiful White converible '66 GTO as we speak...appraised at 15 to 17 grand!!! Last owner didn't give it the TLC it needed and now needs some springs all around...and I needs some advise...

..."Year One" catalogue has the springs priced at $259.00 for all four...it this the best route to take???

Springs

Another option for springs is Eaton Spring Co located in Detroit, Michigan on Michigan Ave. Don't have their number but they are listed. They have the blueprints for almost any car that's ever been made and their prices are pretty reasonable. Don't know how much for the '66 springs.
