Poem...Really sad and dramatic

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Fantasy Iota : One Thread

In the darkness, by herself, the lonely one awaits... For her love was in a battle with his only true enemy...his own brother...You see..they both loved to fight eachother over evertything...but now it went too far. Another thing they both loved, though, was her...The object of both of their desires...Lovely, entrancing, gentle, goddess like... The one she had feelings for, Kojiro, took his mighty, deadly sword, trying to kill the other...but he missed... His brother, however, had got Kojiro very badly on the leg. "Stop this! Stop now!" The Princess cried. But it was too late..KOjiro was down, laying on the ground. She ran to him, fast as she could, tears sreaming down her face. When she arrived towards her love, she held him close to her. "Kojiro..Please don't die!" she kissed him once more...felt his warm arms around her...like many times before...Then, he went limp, cold, and lifeless...She screamed in heartbreak...for her love had then passed on. She had to be with him somehow...so she took the cursed sword, saying "Now we will be together" as the echo of the metal drove through her body, sacrificing herself to be joined forver with her only love, in the spirit world....

Wait, I'm confused... poem? In any case poetic prose will be categorized in Short Stories.

Good, good. Post more ^_^.

well anything can be considered poetry, as long as it has some sort of repeating concept. so if i typed like this,
hello there
what's up?
i am
bored as
hell, what
about you?
that can be considered poetry, because the concept is two words per line. Even if the concept is "skip a line whenever i feel like it" it can be considered poetry. So what she wrote probably is a short story, however, if it was organized it would be poetry.
