Ok, i'm bad with writing and poetry and such, but i'm going to do this anyways:
Nameless:

A boy, couldn't be older than 15, sits, typing furiously at the computer. No thought necessary, everything is translated into code and keystrokes. His parent come and check on him from time to time, making sure he doesn't go too far from the real world. He keeps to him self in his dark room all day, typing. Yet he has a perfect sense of reality, he knows what's going on, and that he should be wasting his life this way. Yet he enjoys every moment of it, he enjoys the feeling of power over this machine, to press a key combination, or to type a set of text and make things happen. Impressive things, wonderful things. He has friends outside of his cyber world, good friends, the kind you can count on and trust. Few of them, sure, but they are there. He trusts in this cyber world, yet it can't be described why, and he loves in his cyber world. Some say that you can't love without compassion, but who is to say that you can't get compassion from someone on the other side of the country or world for that matter? "Sure," he thinks, "there is no feeling like being with someone you love face to face." But there are substitutes. He struggles to explain his theory to people. But it is generally not accepted by his 'friends' from the real world, so he drifts farther away. Slipping farther from reach. He thinks lowly of himself, yet hears nothing but compliments from his peers. He struggles with the thought of why people bother talking with him, he doesn't show his feelings to many, and he hardly talks, how can this be anything but boring? You wonder who this person is I speak of? It is none other than me...

Not sure how bad it is, or if it will look right on the page >__< ... I'm open to criticism though..

Mmm...most interesting. Speaks rather true to a lot of people out there...just change the sex and the age of the person...could be anyone...I like that...interpersonal...tounching everyne on a deep, meaningful level.

Hmm, thanks.

Very nice! I like the conceit of "you can't love without compassion," a pleasant theory but easily disproven. There are many different kinds of love, including jealous love, possessive love, and other selfish forms of love. They are all real, sincere forms of love, but they are not very healthy.

Yeah, very true. I'm not the greatest writer or even a good one, but for some reason I enjoyed writing this a lot, and i'm open to anything anyone has to say about it...
