Stupid Silver Version...

I hate my Silver version. It restarts on me. Sometines when I turn on my Game Boy, the only two options are "new game" or "option". Where's the Continue? I was training a Geodude and the game just restarted the next day. Any comments or info? Well?

Well the only thing I can think of is that the save battery is dying, dead,or the circut board is messed up in the cartridge. You could call Nintendo and have them replace the battery though.

I mean a Pokemon game...Ya know, Pokemon Silver version??

It's Pokemon. And yes, your battery probably is dead. Just contact NOA and ask them to replace it for you.

Poke mon plagues the minds of Americas youth; it makes them think they can control various collectable animals. Can you imagine the mass histeria man. I mean the plain sight of one episode was enough to give kids a fuckin seizure man! Lunacy I tell you! Animated cock fights that have 12 year old kids betting money, badges, and even their own helpless poke'mon! For all the reasons above I purely dispise poke'mon! That and the fact it just is a stupid show man.

In case you need to call them, there number is : 1-800-255-3700. Or if you want to buy a battery and install it yourself then go to db.gamefaqs.com/console/misc/file/battery_replacement.txt. But I advise against this move as it could destroy your game for good. Let Nintendo do it and if they break it they will replace it.

*ahem* It is not the battery. I know. I live with BR..she's mah sister, and...It IS the game. Heyt GB has practically new batteries in it..

It does not have to do with age of the battery. It could be the temp. that killed it. If it is in a hot room or hot car or in the cold for a few weeks then the battery drains. Plus I read an article of Pokemon game batterys dying on them within a year of having the game. If you don't believe me then read an instruction manual for a NES game and the first page with the legal shit should say something about their save batterys. They don't poast that message in new games like SNES,GB,GBC,N64, and GBA. Just in the NES ones.

*Slaps head* Ami, you are beyond stupid. How do you think cartridges save games without a memory card? simple, a battery in the game itself supplies power to the memory, so it doesn't escape. NOT the game boy's batteries. By the way, Pokemon is a good RPG but ANNOYS THE HELL OUT OF YOU.
