ACL Photo

In Bill Griffin's book "ACL: Standard Railroad of the South" there's a photo at the bottom of page 77 showing a train at Moncrief Tower. I'm vaguely familiar with this area from passing through but I'm wondering if this photo is looking north or south. Is the diamond in the background the Southern diamond?

The train is northbound.You are looking toward Jacksonville.The tower was on the south (RR west) side of the track.

Paul;

I do have some books on both the Atlantic Coast Line and the Seaboard Air Line as well as Seaboard Coast Line, CSX, and Norfolk Southern. This latest book on the ACL sounds interesting and I am willing to get it one of these days even if I have to ask for it for Christmas to add to my growing library of railroad books of the Southeast, West Coast and the Northeast. When I do get the book maybe I will take a look at page 77.
