Lord, I pray that the light of your truth will shine on these Bishops. I pray that with this being the feast of Our Lady's Assumption, that in honor of her sacrifice, you will bestow on your Church's leadership a special dispensation of your grace; grace to see, grace to hear, grace to repent. I pray, Lord, that as these Bishops fast and pray today that you will open their eyes, and they will be converted to Christ, as the only true Lord and Savior, that you will fill them with zeal for the Truth, that you will uncover their error, that you will raise up the remnant of the faithful who love the voice of their Savior to be the voice of one crying in the wilderness, "Make straight the paths of the Lord."

We cry out, Lord, in most earnest appeal, save us, heal us, use us to bring reform within your body, the Church. Amen.
