Please keep in prayer Rev. Christopher Haynes and his family

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread

Rev. Christopher Haynes and his family are going through a most incredible and unprecedented series of events in the Bermuda Annual Conference. I cannot go into details but he and his family are in great need of the prayers of our entire family. I can reveal he is being forced to leave Bermuda despite the fact he was given a charge at the Bermuda Annual Conference in March for the year.

I can also disclose he has not been found in violation of either the law of the land or the Church. This story was posted on the front page of the Royal Gazette (Bermuda's daily newspaper)today.

Please keep him and Mount Zion AME Church in your prayers.

Our prayers go out to him, and his flock.

BTW: You said you cannot disclose what happened, but it's already on the Internet version of the Royal Gazette.

Satan is very busy, brothers and sisters. Now, more than ever, we need to stay prayed up and fired up.

Our prayers are going out for Reverend Haynes and his family. The church should be able to do something about this situation so that he doesn't suffer more.

Sincerely,

"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name..." (Psalm 91:14) Our prayers are with our brother and his family.
