Is this a real song?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A History of Ireland in Song : One Thread

I have the words to a song, but I don't know if it is a REAL song. It is for a play I am doing. some of the words go - In Ireland Old Ireland The Turf is tough on the teeth, As are the turnips and the heath. The rhubarb rings no relief. But the girls there are soft and sweet And know what their lads like to eat.

It doesn't sound like a real song, and i have been looking else where, but with no sucsess. (It does say in the play, that the band plays along to the song) Thanks for ANY help. Tyne.
