My 2 month old doe has nasel drainage and choughing.greenspun.com : LUSENET : Dairygoats : One Thread
This morning I noticed my 2 month old doe has nasel drainage and was choughing. I have only had her for 4 days. Do I need to be concerned or do anything right now? She has been fine until now. I have been giving her Sulmet. She is still nursing on momma goat - but in the process of being weaned. So stress is a factor - she is locked away from mom at night.

Is the drainage clear? Is she acting ok? We feed dry hay and have regular coughing in most of ours. They will also cough a lot when learning to chew a cud. When we get a runny nose we watch how they play, eat, act. 99% of the time we do nothing if its acting odd or staying by it's self we will give an antibotic.

I have the same problem with my 3 month old goats. They are coughing and sneezing with discharge. I thought it might have something to do with the change of food or pastures. I have had them for 7 days now.
