does NTL allow personal server when using broadband?

Hi, there,

I'm planning to run a personal server to host a forum for people coming around to exchange information. The house I'm living is in a NTL broadband cabled area. If choosing their service, is it possible to have a static IP and run a personal server at port 22, 23 and 80, etc.

Thanks

Clark

Section 8 of NTL's user policy mentions webservers and seems to imply that you can run them on your PC. I'm not sure how static their IP's are, you could try NTHellWorld.com.
