Front end feel

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

Been on my 2002 1+1, and loving it. However, I got on a Senna today, and at a standstill, found the front end to have a much lighter feel rotating the head. also, with the 180 on the back, I was able to throw it into the corners with much better reaction feel. Anyone have feedback on why the Senna front end would feel so much lighter than the 1+1?

Larry,

quite possibly it was the steering dampner settings, are you sure your comparing apples to apples. Ive got a Senna, and it turns beautifully! Yes, the 180 helps "mid-turn" but its doubtful you'd feel anything at a standstill. The ti-nitrided forks help this thing track like its cutting thru ice. A recent ride on the f4s of a riding buddy's confirms the floppy low end feel of the Senna gearing, and takes some serious revving to get going, but in the twisties....c- ya!!!!!

ON FRONT END FEEL :TYRE PRESSURE IS HUGE IN EFFECT .WHATS BEST IS SOMTHING YOU DECIDE . BETWEEN 28 PSI TO 38 PSI . I LIKE 34 PSI FOR FRONT 30PSI REAR FOR CANYON DANCING . MY #S ARE ON THE STOCK TYERS .
