I am trying to do a biography of George Miller in terms of how he fits in the context of his times. I have not been able to get a good general overview of the people who influenced him initially, and how that developed. Any information would be great, including S.S. Stevens.

Try Bernard Baars' book _The Cognitive Revolution_. It has interviews with all the principles.
