A billion curses....and then some....

Damn it. Damn it, Damn it, Damn it. Damn it to hell.

*is crying*

Damn you, life...why must you be so cruel??

Anyway...here's what happened...SO, i'm playing FF9, on the third disc....and, I'm up to the part where Cid gets turned back into a Human, and all the other stuff happens.....and, yadda yadda yadda, eventually, Zidane ends up talking to Garnet at "the resting place".Then, Garnet takes Zidane's Dagger, and leaves, and the scene fades out.

Then, i wait. 5 minutes goes by. NOTHING. 10 minutes. NOTHING. the screen remains blank. 20 minutes...NOTHHHIINNNGGGG....

So, sobbing hopelessly, i reset the game. Then, i play thought the exact same scene again...where....to my suprise.....NOTHING HAPPENS, AND THE SCREEN REMAINS BLANK!

So...uh.....I'm sure this isnt supposed to be part of the game...right? Because if it is, then....well...umm....IT REALLY SUCKS!!!! X.X

Ive had this problem before with some of my games. I have two possible theories as to why this happens:

Your PS is burning out. Get a new one, or switch to a PS2.

The cd is overscratched. Try it on somebody elses system that is fairly new, and see what happens.

WELL DAVEY, NOT TOO MUCH OF A SPOILER: GARNET CUTS OFF HER HAIR WITH ZIDANE'S DAGGER...

THE NEXT 10 MINUTES IS A VIOLENTLY GRAPHIC SEX SCENE. ZIDANE WALKS AWAY FEELING HAPPY, AND GARNET WALKS AWAY WITH THE BAHAMUT SUMMON. HANDY! THAT'S THE GIST!
