How did your garden turn out this year? Are you doing any canning?

My garden turned out poorly. The okra is fine, and the greens were good, but that is all that did well. We got a few different veggies for fresh eating, but that is about it. I am considering buying a lug of tomatos from a stand to put up, but perhaps I will just wait until next year. The store- bought sauce is pretty good, and if you have to buy the tomatos (even the seconds) the savings get pretty small.

My zuchinni didn't do well and I didn't get very many cucs. Tomatoes did better than usual, so did the green beans. I'm doing lots of canning. Seems like this time of the year is sooo busy, but it's sure worth it later on.
