Our Beloved Rev. Fisher's birthday is Sunday Sept. 15th, send him your good wishes!

Happy Birthday wonderful, and very youthful Rev. Fisher, your birthday is a day for true celebration for on a daily basis you throw a "spiritual party" for the lord on this discussion board. God has blessed this world with your birth, talent, love for Jesus, your musical abilities and of course your wonderful patience. I thought about baking you some peach cobler, but realized it would probably go through Wisconsin and alas, Ray Allen would intercept them and they wouldn't get to you. I thought about sending you music, but again Robert Matthews would probably get those too, I thought about sending poetry, but Carmen Rose would read it and keep it, I thought about sending flowers but Elder Lori Crawford would have to get them first, since I missed her birthday last year. I thought about sending money, but Bill Dickens travels so much and eats out all the time, I am still paying for his last vacation. I thought about sending you books, but dear brother Jerryl our board historian would be better served with books. I thought of sending you a map with all of our A.M.E churches but alas Rev. Biwa in Namibia should get the map first. As I thought of all the wonderful gifts I could send you I realized that every gift brought a wonderful memory of new friends and family on this board. Young people, mature people, people from different denominations, Bishops and laity. All gather under the banner of Jesus Christ, because God sent an anointed man to gather us, and nurture us to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. You are greatly loved and that is a gift from all of us at A.M.E Today. Happy Birthday great leader.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! You are my hero, especially after the "snail mail" article "weed whacking" and "good cents". I said to myself, "self, has Rev. John been to your house?" Keep up the good work. I so enjoy your insightful commentary.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! This is my second post, the first didn't go through for some reason. But you and lovely wife, enjoy your special day.

Happy Birthday to the one responsible for bringing us all together...Pastor John Fisher! I must apologize for the tardiness of my greeting but I managed to intercept a peach cobbler heading east from Montana!
