Hello! I am in the process of gathering data, advice, ideas, referals, and even donations in preparation to submit a grant proposal. I want to start a program that offers education and training in the ag industry, as well as offer a community garden/ food bank, and an education and resource center. I also want to talk to farmers and encourage them to start community gardens. I believe this will help the farmer by insuring a market for his goods, and it will help people in need to recieve fresh produce, meat, and dairy products. Nobody, regardless of income or circumstances, should be denied access to nutritious food. That's a crime, and I can't sit idly by and do nothing. Every day in this country people are homeless or living in sub standard housing. People hunger all day and go to bed hungry at night. Parents can't provide for their kids (sometimes this happens even if both parents are working), and people eat food out of dumpsters. This is unacceptable! I need to get the word out. I also need donations including things like land, construction, livestock, vet meds, seeds, draft horses, equipment, funding, etc....Thankyou and God Bless!
