So how is 11 going to work. Do you meet with friends and play and when you have to go you tell them another time to meet. Or do you join up with new people the next time you are on? And is it going to suck? Help. This is driving me nuts. I wanna know! Now! okay i am calm

Well basically, you start out and choose your race and class class can be changed whenever you like by talking to a moogle but you only keep the abilities of that class up to half of your current level. I assume you save the details of your character level abilities items etc. There is a plot but no real story line if that makes any sense, you can just go around doing missions killing a beast that haunts a cave. I assume when you reload you start in the same place or wherever you were when you last saved. You can advertise your self as a group leader and people can join you if they wish, up to six in a team. you cann ot attack/steal from other players, but you can however trade the items you have in a swap or buying situation, you negotiate a price for the item and when you both agree the trade takes place. Up to three teams can form an alliance to fight say a really hard boss, so up to 18 characters. You will be able to identify other characters by their name so if you want to forge a team of friends, agree to meet in a town at a specific time and then create a team. You only control your charcter, but can monitor that of your allies so if your a white mage you can see who needs healing and how much...Pretty long winded and some of it may not be true but thats the general idea around the game...hope i've helped...bye

Damn you people that don't have a clue!! If you want to meet someone in the game you will have to be logged into the game at the exact same location as they are and talk to them. They may also have it like EverQuest and you can talk to people without actually being near. through a ghat window that displays stats, damage, and messages. or they may go for the Ultima Online way -which I prefer a lot more- and have it to where there is no message box (it really gets in the way, ya know!) and you can "party" with people and talk from a distance. If they don't change certain things like no PvP, and things of the such, then yes It may suck. but no, I think they will take a hint that people WANT to beat the hell out of each other every once in a while... but yeah.. I think it will turn out decent at the least, if not good (I won't say great just yet.. but who knows!)

Yeah you can talk to people and they will hear you within normal talking range i.e. real life or you can shout which travels a bit further and you can talk to those in ure team over any distance but you can't transmit over the entire area...

The thing might not even come out in the US my friends. Unfortunately our aquaintances at Squaresoft are having a little trouble getting the network up and running in America. Unless they get the man power to get the job done right we might have to skip 11 completely or just release 12 in America under the name 11. FUCK AMERICA GETS SCREWED OVER AGAIN.

actuly i heared that they are still debating weather or not to bring it to the us

Yes they are considering not bringing it out cos it sold less than half the copies required to break even in japan...aaaah it the final fantasy movie all over again...thats why they are making ffx-2 and ffvii-2 to make money on already popular games to recuperate their losses...though if they really want to make money just make ffxii like all the other final fantasies rather than crappy mmorpg's which are in a word boring and detat from the series...
