Abnormal Goats :o)

I guess our goats are wierd...probably a reflection of their owners ...but our four bottlefed- now yearling+ goats stay out in the rain, by choice. Unless it is a horrific downpour, and it's relatively mild outside, our four goats will stay out in a rainfall and browse. Curled up tails (happy??) and all.

Am I wrong to think this is very peculiar behavior? The goats didn't used to be this way, but they are now...and it's not due to extreme hunger, or no shelter options.

Last eve as I put them up for the night, I didn't want the bedding to get too wet so I toweled the foursome off! They like that too.

Just wondering if this is as peculiar as I have read- on goat behavior. Oh yeah- my wether doesn't mind walking in shallow water puddles either... I'm thinking he's gonna be a great hiking pal!

Comments appreciated!
