Taking a few days off.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : CountrySide Family : One Thread

I just wanted to let you know I won't be posting for a few days. Life has gotten rather difficult here in KY and I need to take a few days to think about everything. Stan, I will still be checking for the book tomorrow and will send it out if I find it. I guess the lonliness and amount of work I have facing me finally caught up me and right now all I want to do is run away. Since running away is not possible the only thing I can think to do is just spend some time re-evaluating my life and what I need to do to be happy again. You guys have fun and I'll be back online sometime next week.

Kathy , I'm a four hour drive from your neck of the woods, your welcomed to visit here any time...I'm trying to get together a mini music fest for October .There's a hip rock-a-billy blue grass band that's gonna play some music and wants to stay a night or 2 here at my place, a folk guitarist , and my band, possibly a few other musicians and singers,...Plus a bunch of people of mixed ages who want to camp out for a week-end of music and socializing and sittin by the fire ..Your welcomed to come. It's kind of a private party ,so It will be mellow in spirit .It's still in the planning stages.

That sow I have had piglets Tuesday. If your still wanting any , they'll be ready in 5 weeks. She had 5 . 1male and 4 females.

Big huge hugs, Kathy!

I really do know just how you feel....running a homestead alone is no small feat much of the time and can be pretty overwhelming. I really wish I lived closer, I think we could both use a country friend to lend a hand, and a shoulder, from time to time.

Be well! And do what you need to do to be happy!

Take care, Kathy. This is a good time of year to re-evaluate things and decide what to keep and what to toss out when the new year starts at the end of October. Feel free to email me directly if you want. I'm only a couple of hours north of Lousiville, I don't know how far that is from your place.
