Tenured professors can sure dish out the criticism and the vitriol, but have you ever noticed how they can't take any criticism themselves? A case in point is a new website by a Middle East think tank, called the Middle East Forum, which is identifying terrorist sympathizers in academia. The site, filled with America-haters, is growing fast. The growth is both in the number of professors whose names are being added, as well as the number of hits the site gets each day. These tenured professors are teaching such facts as "there is no Israel, there is only occupied Palestine," and sundry other hate filled, anti-Western propaganda. And these professors, under "free speech" are sought after by our most erudite centers of learning. The website, dubbed the "Campus Watch Website" can be found here: http://www.campus-watch.org/ .

Of course, the left is howling that this is "McCarthyism" and "a witch-hunt." Gee, I guess no one is supposed to notice that we have hundreds of al-Queda supporters in academia, not just hidden in shadowy cells or training at flight schools. These are the guys that American parents are paying to support with their tuition for their children. What was the basis for this charge? The professors apparently received a lot of non-complimentary e-mail. Well…duh. This must be a tough life for those lofty, tenured professors; they're now having to click the delete button and all.

This website goes beyond fundamental racial profiling. It quotes the professors' actual lectures, gives their resumes, names the books and papers they've produced, and provides the substance of the curriculum. It's the kind of reporting that campus newspapers should have been doing, but don't. Here's an example of what the professors highlighted on the website:

'Dossiers: ALAM, M. Shahid. Shahid Alam is Professor of Economics at Northeastern University, Boston. His current research interests include: corruption, growth, global economic history and imperialism. He has published two books, Governments and Markets in Economic Development Strategies (Praeger: 1989) and Poverty from the Wealth of Nations (Macmillan: 1999).

Here's an excerpt from this rabid, anti-Semite:

"But this has been the particular burden of Zionists as they conceived their plan for a colonial-settler state in Palestine, as they went about executing this plan on the backs of imperialists powers-with wars, massacres and ethnic cleansing-and, later, as they have persisted in their plans to dispossess the Palestinians of the last fragments of their rights and legacy whose Canaanite roots were more ancient than Isaiah, Ezekiel, David and Moses."

Is there any wonder then why anti-Israel, anti-West is all the rage at even our most elite universities? You see, there is no hateful counterpart amongst the Jews in America. No Jewish professors (or others) are excoriating Arabs as "ragheads." And so through repetition of the "Big Lie," with no defense in academia, you have the final and total Manchurian Candidate indoctrination of our students. Some of the universities profiled on the website are, to name a few: UC Berkeley, Stanford, and San Francisco State. The Bay Area seems to have a lion's share of America-haters. How does the San Francisco Chronicle write up this story in today's paper? You guessed it--with a sympathetic portrayal of the beleaguered professors. There are no fewer than quotes from three critics of the website, all from academia, of course.

And just to make the story look fair and balanced, they even find a Jewish professor to criticize the website. There you have it; the jury is in. It must now be an unfair website, according to the Chron. There is not a single quote from a Jewish organization or other American in support of the site. To give it that extra serious imprimatur, the story was even written by a Jewish reporter to give it that extra flair of, "je ne sais pas" accuracy in reporting.
