What exactly causes mass wasting??

Answers

There are several factors that contributes to mass wasting. Some are heavy and earthquake. When these occurs, the materials of the soil weakens making it easier to move. In other words the cohesion in them have diminish.

One big cause of mass wasting is rain....this is because water loosens up rock materials to cause things like mudslides and creep.

Melting glaciers can cause mass wasting. The glaciers pick up and carry dirt,soil,rocks,stc. and when they melt they distribute the products they are carrying.
