I am a resident doctor in internal medicine, currently working for my HOD who is going to present a paper on music therapy in a conference. we are working on the effects of certain hindustani ragas, on various psychosomatic illnesses like asthma etc, and i would really appreciate it if i get some help in collecting references regarding the same, particularly some cross reference in carnatic music, would be very helpful. i have come accross some studies done using carnatic music, on the web, but if i can get some literature on music therapy, as in a book etc, it would be very helpful for us. if anyone can help me please do contact me at the given email address thanks v much Shraddha
