I just bought a cannon S30 and im unable to capture the night shot in the night scene,i try using a tripob but the picture still remain blur also.......can soneone help me with this issue thank you very much.......i would like to know also how much will the replacement battery cost......

Can't say I know how to use a Canon S30, but have you tried using the self timer to activate shutter automatically instead of pressing shutter button? Sometimes vibration can occur if you press shutter button "too hard", i.e. press button, shutter opens, but your still pressing button causing vibration to camera. Try to avoid touching the camera when taking a night shot.
