Hi all,

I'm moving down to North Carolina in at the end of October from Michigan. I've been a very active member of the Detroit techno scene for the past 8 years now, and I'm really hoping to find some kind of a scene down there. Is there a techno scene? Please let me know what's going on. : ) Do people want one? If there clubs, venues, promoters there that know what's what and what's up and are looking for that Detroit sound, drop me a line. I am either friends with or have contact with any Detroit DJ you could want (not trying to brag, just letting people know what they potentially have access to).

I really hope I hear from people! Looking forward to finding places where I'll still be able to throw down on the dance floor!

don't know much about 'techno', all the parties i know about are drum and bass. there is a decent scene here, but it could always be better. what part of n.c. are you moving to?

My name is Konquest, I am originally from detroit and started spinning there in 98 and moved down here to NC. I have been to parties in Charlotte and in Raleigh. The scene compared to the D is crappy. Everyone down here is closed minded from what I have seen. If somebody out there feels different please let me know, because I have been going to the wrong places. Right now all I do is spin at home. I spin house from tribal progressive house to funky disco. And I am also the best at Euro Trance. If you would like a sample CD from me to see if you like this kind of music. I have been talking to some promoters from Miami and might pick up my career again there. But if you would like to keep this style in NC let me know. I am here for another year and a half. If you would like a promo cd let me know I would be glad to send it to you. Because right now I am not sharing of my music in NC. TO MANY CLOSE MINDED PEOPLE.
