started raining around 2 pm,, right now,, ( 6 pm ), its starting to turn to snow,,, expecting to see the grass covered by morning,,, winters starting early this year I think

I think winter is early this year, too. We have had snow flurries out here near Kansas City, Kansas but nothing that will stick yet.

Send some my way!! I heard it was snowing in MN, WI & MI and it made me so homesick. The weather man said yesterday that the earliest we've ever had measurable snow in this part of KY is around Dec 20. We're supposed to have more rain on Thurs & Friday, temps in the 60's. Most years this is a drought area but not this year; we're already 7 inches over normal. The weather seems to be messed up all over the country this year.

The rain finally came here this evening. Not much but about 2 hours of steady light rain.

The last time I saw rain was back in April.
