i had an oil leak on my left hand side of engine case. ( the cluch plate i think). i took it to the local MV dealer to check out and they said it was excess grease behind one of the plates. 6 months on ... and i STILL have a very SLIGHT leak. my question is. has anyone had the same problem ? and is it a common fault with the bike?

Answers

The clutch is actually on the right side of the engine if you're sitting on the bike. My clutch cover is weeping just a little bit. The hydraulic part of the clutch (the slave cylinder) is on the left side though.

Grease behind one of the plates? Umm... That sounds pretty fishy...
