Behold, the power of Cheese...

The Mighty Rootbeer hath returned.

But I am not in full health...yet.

I was whisked away to a hospital on sunday night, and while there, i slipped into and out of conciousness, awakining only because of the sharp pains that stabbed me ever few seconds. I was constantly under doctor's supervision, asking me questions, or administering medicine.

I Learned that i had developed a stomach ulcer.

My father had a history of stomach ulcers as well, and I am familiar with the ravages of this particular affliction (No thesaurus needed!). I know that i'll have to avoid acidic foods that may contribute to this...such as Ketchup, Lemons, and Hot Sauce. Unfortunately, this eliminates most of my favorite foods. I'll have to keep a close eye on my diet from now on...

Another thing they told me was that i seem to have a very high amount of stress on my life, and i should do whatever i can to lessen it.

Thank you very much for your kind words...I really appreciate it.

Belated as it may be, Davey, I happily welcome you back. Hope you make a complete recovery soon.

from one who knows the pain... after you get used to the pain you pretty much ignore it. it took me about a month and a half but hey look at me now i'm just me... granted i've had mine since i was 11 but that's beside the point. it will still get bad everynow and again but hey that's life. just take a shit load of maalox and it will go away.

i'll agree that they taste like chalk... so in that case use the liquid or quick disolve ones... still taste like chalk but the taste goes away faster.
