Neighbors used to bring over their dog (pekapoo) and kitty. Dog was stupid enough to put up with it. Cat was duly humiliated but just barely tolerated the process. It was fun getting ready for them because I could buy pet toys that I wouldn't want to eat afterwards if they didn't show up. Pekapoo passed away and replacement kitty wouldn't be caught dead in any outfit, so no halloweeners expected this year.

If you give the kitties enough catnip, many things are possible! The only time I can trim my kitty's sharp back nails is while she's sleeping off a catnip high.
