Northbound lane of I-270, near state line with Illinois. Although a talking head is wondering if someone wanted to bring down a plane, I can't see the point of offing a FedEx plane. Does FedEx use commercial transport too?

It reminds me of that scene in RepoMan. A trooper has stopped a nuclear mad scientist along the highway and is checking the trunk. (Mad scientist TOLD him not to do that...) Then you see just the imprint of his smouldering boots as the mad nuke guy drives away. The investigator passes it off as "spontaneous combustion, it happens sometimes".

The reports of the "accident" remind me of the contortions that Rosemary Wood had to go through in order to accidentally erase substantial portions of the Nixon tapes.
