Mistake in 2000 exam?

To study for the upcoming exam, I am looking at the 2000 VC&D exam. I am wondering whether question 14a in the exam is a mistake. It requires students to redraw the orthographic projection of the clock into isometric at a scale of 1:2. If students are to draw this to 1:2 scale with the given measurements, the drawing would go off the page. The given guidelines for the drawing on page 25 are certainly not to this scale. As far as I know, isometric is drawn with sides at full measurements not scaled down (as in oblique cabinet). Could someone please be of assistance?
