Hello, I am a debater at Topeka West and we are trying to find some evidence on how many psycologists there are in the United States. So, My question is: How many psychologists are in the United States?

The American Psychological Association currently has about 108,000 members. In addition there are psychologists who do not belong to APA but have their membership in smaller specialized organizations. Some are not "joiners" at all, especially the clinical psychologists who are licensed by the 50 different states. You might log on to the APA website www.apa.org and see if they list someone who might be able to answer your question.
