Voters Pack The Polls

(WCCO) ; more than 30 percent of registered voters cast their ballots by 2 p.m. this afternoon.

The city is printing more ballots to make sure there’s no chance polls will run out. The City is printing an additional 26,000 supplemental ballots, which Elections Officials are delivering (along with 26,000 additional regular ballots) to precincts throughout Minneapolis during the afternoon.

Polls are open until 8 p.m. and elections officials are working to ensure that – despite the unusual circumstance of the election – voters are able to cast their ballots as quickly as possible. Even with the extra effort, some voters are waiting over 30 minutes to cast their vote.
