www.jesus.com is owned by someone who obviously thinks it's alright to mock our Lord. I wonder if there's enough of us to protest, maybe the web server company would shut it down ? What do u think ? The domain could be put to much much better use.

Mark 9:29 -- And he said to them, "This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer."

Indications are that this guy is very wealthy and owns his own server. There is no person or firm named at the site to whom anyone could protest.

Pray. This will not continue indefinitely.

The name www.jesus.org is controlled by www.crosswalk.com (a non-Catholic Christian site).
The name www.jesus.net is controlled by www.christ.com (ditto).
The name www.jesus.edu seems to be unavailable.

I wanted to respond to this earlier but got bogged down in "real life" (i.e., work!).

I would just like to suggest that rather than try to shut down the site, you simply pray for the person who runs it.

The reason I'm asking this is because just a couple of years ago, I myself was the owner and operator of a very blasphemous web site. The title was "Jesus is Dead - Get Over It!"

If someone had actively tried to shut me down, it would not only not have made me stop, but would just have made me feel self-righteous, like a persecuted martyr.

Instead, someone must have prayed for me, because by the grace of God, I found my way home to God.

So when you come across a site like this, please, I speak from personal experience - pray, pray, pray!! It's the only thing that will really do any good, in the long run. :-)
